Open a bite, altering gingival levels, and placing additive veneers to treat severe wear

This patient came to our office referred by a local orthodontist. She had seen 5 other dentist and received 5 different options.  This included one dentist that who wanted to do root canals on all her front teeth!  We went over two option.  Orthodontics for a year and a half followed by 8-10 porcelain restoration or porcelain overlays and crowns on the front teeth along with gingival contouring.  She chose the latter to deal with her severe wear. Treatment was completed in 2 and a half weeks with a beautiful result that would have not been achievable any other way.
