Cosmetic Composite Bonding vs Veneers

This patient came to the Newport Beach dental office thinking that she wanted porcelain veneers. After a discussion with her we decided that is was in her best interest to do a composite bond due to the small chip. When we do bonding we layer several different shades of composite to get the most natural appearance. For this case we utilized a b1 dentin shade and covered it on both sides with a high translucency bright enamel shade.

The patient was pleased with the results we achieved and grateful that we directed her towards cosmetic bonding verse porcelain veneers.
