Implant Dental Case Study

Case Study Details

Kim came to the office with a complaint of an old ugly bridge that was placed many years ago. The dentist chose to utilize pink porcelain to mimic gum tissue. We removed the old bridge and placed a dental implant with a gum graft from her palate to build bulk of healthy pink gum tissue. A zirconia abutment and eMax layered porcelain crowns were placed on all 4 front teeth. In addition she was suffering from headaches from a poor occlusion or bite. Her bite was adjusted by a procedure referred to as occlusal equilibration. Kim informed us that her daily migraines were eliminated following her equilibration.
